1. Before installation, check all parts of pneumatic butterfly valve without missing, model is correct, check valve body without debris, solenoid valve and silencer without blocking.

2. Put the valve and cylinder in the closed state.

3. Crash the cylinder into the valve (installation direction is parallel or vertical with the valve body), and then see if the screw hole is correct, there will be no big deviation. If there is a little deviation, turn the cylinder block a little, and then tighten the screw.

4. After installation, the pneumatic butterfly valve is debugged (normal supply pressure is 0.4-0.6 MPa). During debugging, the solenoid valve must be opened and closed manually (manual operation is effective after the solenoid coil is out of power), and the opening and closing situation of the pneumatic butterfly valve should be observed. If it is found that the valve is laborious at the beginning of the opening and closing process, and then normal, it is necessary to reduce the cylinder stroke (adjust the stroke adjustment screw at both ends of the cylinder to a little bit at the same time, adjust the valve to the open position, then turn off the air source and adjust again), until the valve is smooth and closed without leakage. It should also be noted that the adjustable muffler can adjust the opening and closing speed of the valve, but not too small, otherwise the valve may not move.

5. Butterfly valves should be kept dry before installation. It is suggested that they should not be stored in the open air.

6. Check the pipeline before installing butterfly valve to ensure that there is no foreign body such as welding slag in the pipeline.

7. The manual opening and closing resistance of butterfly valve body is moderate, and the butterfly valve torque matches the selected actuator torque.

8. The flange specifications for butterfly valve connection are correct, and the pipe-to-pipe clamping flange conforms to the butterfly valve flange standards. It is recommended that butterfly valve flange be used.

9. Verify that flange welding is correct. Flange shall not be welded after butterfly valve installation, so as to avoid scalding rubber parts.

10. The installed pipe flange should be aligned with the butterfly valve.

11. Install all flange bolts and tighten them by hand. Make sure the butterfly valve is aligned with the flange. Then open and close the butterfly valve carefully to ensure the flexibility of opening and closing.

12. Open the valve completely and tighten the bolts in diagonal order with a wrench. No washer is needed. Do not tighten the bolts too tightly to prevent serious deformation of the valve ring and excessive opening and closing torque.
